Newly awarded contracts in Sines and Matosinhos. Work in the areas of PRM, PowerRoom, Grounding Networks, Substations, Electricity and Instrumentation.
Participation in large Portuguese energy sector projects is one of ENSULMECI’S central challenges. ENSULMECI’S presence in major ongoing projects has been extended on several fronts, thereby confirming itself as one of the leading companies within this sector.
In addition to other projects, the company is currently involved in the Conversion of both the Sines and Matosinhos Refineries and is completing the final civil construction phase of the new vacuum distillation unit and the Visbraker unit, as well as the construction of the new Matosinhos refinery cogeneration centre and also the maintenance of the turbine generators. This involvement has been expanded through the awarding of new projects at both Refineries to the value of more than 10 million Euros. ENSULMECI is responsible for the new PRM projects at both Sines and Matosinhos, with the working beginning at Sines very soon. ENSULMECI has also been awarded the PowerRoom and Grounding Network projects, special mention being given to the 2nd Electricity and Instrumentation Package due to it being the largest of its type within the refinery environment sector; a project that ENSULMECI will carry out in association with the company MIESA.
Up until the present time, ENSULMECI has been responsible for three projects within the Sines Refinery Substations sector.
It is ENSULMECI’S aim to position itself within this particular market as the partner of choice for supporting various types of industrial upgrading projects within the oil and petrochemical area.
